Open since 2015, the cultural center (a division of the Institute of Jamaica), pays tribute to Venezuelan liberator and national hero, Simon Bolivar, who resided in Jamaica in 1815. The two-story building is the former office of the Agricultural Society of Jamaica. An exhibition hall, an interpretive museum, a library and a 350-seat multicultural center are dedicated to the Bolivarian cultural concept, offering adults and children an opening to the cultural arts and the stage.
