A must-see historic building, the town's most imposing landmark and Falmouth's town hall.
There are few historic buildings in Jamaica, due to the many earthquakes and hurricanes that often destroyed the older structures. This sturdy square white building built in 1815 is still standing. Although it was renovated after a fire in 1926. It is the most imposing monument in the city. A pediment supported by Doric columns marks the entrance facing the sea. Today the building with its ochre façade serves as the town hall
