the exact date of construction of this modest and charming little church is not known, but the first act recorded there is a baptism in 1725. We also know that it was built on the ruins of a Spanish church. Flanked by a small cemetery, we are charmed by its charming Gothic and Georgian architecture and its simple country look. Inside you can see a statue by the English sculptor, John Flaxman. On the northeast side, an archway is believed to be the remains of a tunnel leading to the Fort Charlotte barracks.
