This modest wooden house with a palm tree canopy is the reconstruction of the birth house of the first national hero, Alexander Bustamante. It has been converted into a modest museum. It houses some relics of the 1884 plantation and traces the life of the initiator of the Jamaican nationalist movement, leader of the JLP and Prime Minister at independence, through newspaper clippings and photocopies of documents, some busts and paintings. A small exhibition.
