Jakes is the brainchild of Perry Henzell, director of the cult film The harder they come with Jimmy Cliff. Jakes offers luxury and serenity in the lushness of a seaside garden, with a seawater pool. The artistic imprint of the place is fantastic. The 6 cottages, 21 rooms and 3 villas have faded pink or lavender blue walls, Creole touches, retro Jamaican furniture, terraces... To relax: a sublime Driftwood spa, yoga and fitness classes and a plethora of activities: cooking or mosaic classes, diving, canoeing...
