Located on Boulevard Dacia 25 in Bucharest, Bacania Veche Delicatese & Gradina is a small restaurant with a magnificent garden, hidden among the surrounding houses. Silence is preserved by a huge magnolia tree. Opened on July 21, 2021, the establishment was voted third best bistro in Romania by the public in Horeca Insight magazine. It took second place in the 2022 Horeca Awards. On site, you'll enjoy the full experience of tasting essentially Romanian cuisine, adapted to the needs of the modern consumer. You'll discover a simple menu with straightforward tastes to be savored in a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. On the "Daily slips" board, you'll find all the team's creativities, concocted with ingredients from elsewhere or locally, always fresh and in season. For example, you can have wild carp roe with olive, caper and anchovy sauce. Enjoy pan-fried free-range chicken with caramelized tomato sauce and roasted garlic. For a vegetarian craving, let yourself be charmed by the creamy mamaliga, a selection of five fresh mushrooms, cooked with coriander, butter and crushed garlic.
