HÔTEL CAPŞA * * * * *
A mythical establishment in the capital, the "Maison Capșa" is more than just a hotel: originally a renowned pastry shop when it opened in 1852, its café-restaurant has long served as a haunt for the political and intellectual elite. After years of disgrace under Communism, the establishment was renovated in the 2000s and has regained the splendor it enjoyed during Bucharest's heyday, as if time had stood still. A beautiful address, with an old-fashioned charm. The hotel is also very well located, opposite the Military Circle, not far from Cișmigiu Park.
