The city has four stations but, in principle, you will only use the south and west stations. Bus no. 1 connects the two (via piața Victoriei). The south station is home to trains to Bucharest (very regular, 1h), Târgoviște (4 per day, 2h), Buzău (1h to 1h30), Suceava (3 per day, 5 to 6h), Iași (4 per day, 4h30 to 6h) and Constanța. The west station welcomes trains to Budapest and Transylvania: to Brașov (very regular, 1h45 to 3h20) with stops in Sinaia and other towns in the Prahova Valley depending on the trains. Some trains to Sighișoara and Cluj.
