Autogara Sud is the most convenient, located 200 m south of the city centre (strada Târgul). From there part of the buses and maxitaxis for Bucharest, but also for Câmpulung Muscel (very frequent), Brașov, Târgoviște, Craiova. Autogara Nord is further away from the centre (strada George Coșbuc). Bus to Râmnicu Vâlcea, Târgu Jiu. Beware, the maxitaxis to Bucharest that take the highway are very (too) fast, sensitive souls should refrain. The international lines serving Italy, Germany or Turkey are at Autogara Sud.
