To book the train tickets in advance, stay in the city centre. The bus station is located opposite the railway station (not practical) in the north-east of the city. From the centre follow Strada Crişan and then turn right along Tudor Vladimirescu boulevard (you can take bus 9). The autogare is at the end. If you arrive by bus and want to join the Roman fort and museums directly, follow Tudor Vladimirescu boulevard and take left Strada Independenţei to the end.
