FESTIVAL '39
At the entrance of the main pedestrian street, this beautiful establishment occupies the former Viennese café of the mythical Hotel Coroana, a beautiful green building with astonishing Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. The interior is in tune, giving the impression of plunging back into the atmosphere of the inter-war period: lit by Art Nouveau stained glass windows, enlivened by an air of jazz or swing, the café is furnished with dark wood and golden-red chairs, populated by Gramophone and other second-hand objects. Excellent Romanian specialties are also served here.
