It is housed in a Franciscan monastery, built in the 15th century in Gothic style and remodeled in Baroque style three centuries later. The ethnography section features valuable Hungarian, Saxon and Romanian farming and wine-making tools, ceramics and folk costumes. In the history section, you'll see prehistoric tools and pottery, objects from the Dacian period and medieval documents. The natural science section includes a butterfly collection and a herbarium.
