Attached to the Cartref pension, this small museum, unique in Romania, presents the history of Transylvanian cuisine, a mixture of Hungarian, Saxon and Romanian influences. In a peasant house, a 19th century kitchen has been recreated. You will be able to see agricultural tools, utensils, furniture and recipes used at the time. The visit is combined with a tasting of local cheeses or a workshop (making butter, bread...). A real journey back in time!
