NĂSĂUD
Go there and contact
Năsăud does not have extraordinary architectural monuments, but the atmosphere is pleasant. Many people dressed in traditional costumes find themselves around the market. The Museum of the City (Str. Granicerilor 25), located in the th century Svarda barracks, shows the richness of this folklore and will be a good introduction to the discovery of the surrounding villages. North of Nasaud, in Cosbuc, you can visit the house of the poet George Coşbuc (1866-1918), who gave his name to his native village. Museum open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a. m. to 17 p. m. A 5 km south of Năsăud, another village has seen a great figure in Romanian literature: Liviu Rebreănu (who gave his name to the village), born in 1885 and died in 1944.
