ASTORIA GRAND HOTEL * * * *
Just a stone's throw from piața Republicii, you will stay in a beautiful yellow and orange palace, built between 1902 and 1906 in an eclectic architecture deeply influenced by the Secession style, typical of Oradea. Completely renovated, the hotel offers around 50 rooms, which are overflowing with a somewhat old-fashioned luxury. You will be able to sleep in the room dedicated to the Hungarian poet Endre Ady, a regular visitor to the palace at the time when it housed a famous café, or in the room of his muse Leda. The restaurant, with modern tones, serves international cuisine.
