MUSEUM OF THE POET ENDRE ADY
This beautiful and colourful building is located in the heart of Traian Park. Books, documents and manuscripts of the Hungarian poet (1877-1919), who lived in Oradea for four years and worked for reconciliation between Romania and Hungary, are on display. The museum occupies the former Café Müller, a popular spot in the poet's time. This one liked to come and work there. Recently redesigned, the exhibition recreates the atmosphere of the cafés of the time and tries to give an account of the cosmopolitan environment of the city, in which Endre Ady evolved.
