CARMEL CHAPEL AND MEMORIAL
Chapelle de la Châsse, housing almost all of Saint Thérèse’s relics, which are locked in a casket underneath
Like her sisters, Thérèse entered the Carmelite convent at Lisieux at the age of 15. In the chapel, the shrine depicts the saint on her deathbed. The relics are locked in a casket underneath. In the chapel's courtyard, the memorial and its museographic tour, entirely revamped with the contribution of the "Friends of Saint Therese" association, are accessible to all: visitors and pilgrims alike, as are her writings and the Carmelite nun's cell.
