A pleasant guesthouse in an old building overlooking the sea wall. The wood-panelled rooms are decorated in a slightly dated style, but are clean and well-equipped. All have air conditioning and a small refrigerator. There's also an excellent restaurant, with a large shaded terrace. The name of the pension refers to a Romanian writer under a pseudonym (real name Eugeniu P. Botez), who lived in Sulina for several years and translated the cosmopolitanism of the 1920s in his novel Europolis.
