A harbor café atmosphere, a decoration on the theme "Nordic fisherman". A charming and authentic setting to taste the fabulous smørrebrøds. Once frequented by sailors, it is mainly locals who come here nowadays. You should not miss the curried herring with shallot cream but especially the selection of schnapps - which you can learn to prepare. You can also eat on the old ferryboat moored in the canal opposite the bridge.

Message from Management
Located on the harbor, Færgecafé is a restaurant offering classic Danish cuisine. The chef and restaurateur, Erik Frandsen, prepares his dishes with carefully selected seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes. You will find smørrebrød served with a small glass of schnapps. You can also try herring with curry or a chicken and mushroom tartlet. For dessert, try the old-fashioned apple cake. For beer lovers, there is a wide selection of beers. Moreover, Færgecafé contributes to the local life with historical visits on Sundays, entertaining events, schnapps making courses...

Un bon endroit pour découvrir les saveurs de la cuisines danoises qui m'ont surpris tout le long du séjour.
Super accueil !
Vi blev mødt med åbne arme og service til fingerspidserne af alle de ansatte. De var super søde og imødekommende, dog uden at være påtrængende.
Caféens atmosfære og indretning var hyggelig og passede perfekt til maden.
Udsøgt lækkert, friskt smørrebrød og en skøn dessert at runde af med.
Det eneste der ærgrer mig er, at vi ikke fik smagt på flere ting. Dét gør vi til gengæld næste gang, fordi vi kommer helt sikkert forbi igen.
