It is once again the mark of King Christian IV that is found here (the builder king is also the origin of the Academy). By continuing with the cobbled streets of Søgade, you can discover a whole range of well-preserved th century houses. The yellow house from the corner of the market and from Sogade, dates back to 1650.

Belle bourgade calme et paisible, cerné par la forêt et les étangs, une cité qu'on du mal à quitter. Le quartier (modeste en dimensions) des vieilles maisons propose deux musées intéressants : le " Bisog Museum", voué aux arts et traditions populaires de la région (le Sjaelland) et le "Soko Art museum" riche d'œuvres modernes et contemporaines danoises respectables. Un étage abrite une extraordinaire collection de vieilles icones russes.
