Site located in Slagelse, where you can see exhibits and learn how a Viking village was built.
5 km from the center of Slagelse, the well-preserved remains of a Viking stronghold with a house reconstructed (on the side) on the model of the 30 buildings whose foundations can be seen in the middle of circular ramparts. Trelleborg was built in 980, during the reign of Harald the Blue Tooth. The site provides a life-size demonstration of how a Viking village was built. Exhibition of objects found on the site, which was excavated in the 1930s.
