KNUTHENBORG SAFARIPARK
An 800-hectare park in Maribo, home to animals of all kinds: elands, zebras, antelopes, Siberian tigers...
7 km north of Maribo, this park is the main attraction of the island. Many families, especially German families, come to walk there, enjoy the arboretum and the safari circuit by car. The 800 ha of the park are home to all kinds of animals: moose, zebras, antelopes and Siberian tigers, not forgetting many birds. With its 16 km of tracks, it is the largest safari park in Northern Europe. Ideal for children, and particularly exotic under this latitude: it is still weird to see a camel under a Scandinavian oak tree!
