A festival of imagination, adventure and wonder based on Andersen's fairy tales, texts and theatre.
Odense pays tribute to the most famous Danish author: H.C. Andersen. The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen, The Ugly Duckling, do you know them? World-famous tales written by the man who was born here on April 2, 1805. On the program: a week of cabaret, concerts, parades, artistic experiences and tents around the main squares of the city where known and unknown artists perform. Words and images are in the spotlight with Spoken Word and the International Film Festival that delight festival-goers.
