Archaeological museum with breathtaking architectural setting in Aarhus, retracing prehistory in innovative ways.

Located 10 km from the center of Aarhus. Moesgaard is an archaeological museum with an innovative approach to history, from prehistory to the Viking era, in a breathtaking architectural setting. The past comes to life, and the characters in the exhibits provide visitors with a better understanding of these periods. Reconstructions, theatrical spaces, objects put back into context, and among the moving characters: the Grauballe Man found in the Iron Age marshes - the best preserved in the world. An experience for the whole family.
