One of Europe's most important museums devoted to glass, it is located at the bottom of the town, close to the shore.

At the bottom of the city, near the shore, the old city customs. Today, one of the most important glass museums in Europe, opened in 1985 on the initiative of Danish glassmakers Finn Lynggaard Finn and Tchai Munch. In 2006, a walled garden and a glassblowing workshop were added to the complex. Since then, several glassblowers have set up shop in Ebeltoft, and some of the workshops are open to the curious, with demonstrations of glassmaking. Purchases can be made on site.
