CLAUSHOLM CASTLE (CLAUSHOLM SLOT)
Baroque castle with white walls, built for Grand Chancellor Conrad Von Reventlow, whose daughter married King Frederick IV
Beautiful baroque house with white walls and red roofs, famous for its park managed by the horticultural society of Jutland. The castle was designed for the Grand Chancellor Conrad Von Reventlow. He lived on the first floor, while the second floor was intended for royal guests. It was his daughter, Anna Sophie, who made the castle famous. The young girl was taken by a king in love, Frederick IV, who married her. Ten years later, as a widow, she returned to Clausholm with her court.
