Museum located in Randers to discover a fine collection of art (Lundstrøm, Hammershøi, CoBrA) and contemporary works.
A fine collection of art: Lundstrøm, Hammershøi, CoBrA, including a room devoted to island artists, with a "cosmic room" by Tróndur Patursson. There are rooms dedicated to contemporary works and temporary exhibitions. Anecdote: in 1994, the museum removed Piero Manzoni's Mierda di Artista canister, on loan from collector John Hunov. Sent to a restoration workshop, it disappeared! A compensation of 300 000 DKK was claimed.

Musée assez riche à voir
Belle ensemble de peintures contemporaines pas trop décadentes et d'un fonds XIX e siècle composé de portraits , de natures mortes et de scènes agrestes ou bourgeoises respectables. Malheureusement la boîte de conserve Mierda di Artista de Piero Manzoni figure en bonne place dans le fonds des œuvres contemporaines exposées, comme atteintes conjointes à l'Art, à l'intelligence et à la dignité humaine.
