POWDER TOWER (KRUDTTÅRNET)
This tower, a rare vestige of the ramparts built in 1686, houses a museum of arms and uniforms ( centuries).
This museum of arms and uniforms (17th-19th century) is housed in the powder magazine tower covered with lime. It was used to store gunpowder and ammunition and remains a rare vestige of the ramparts built in 1686. The development of the port in the 20th century had made this tower inaccessible. A few years ago, it was dismantled stone by stone and reassembled a little further away. During the first two weeks of July, a historical city is reconstituted with many animations!
