Museum housed in a villa with collections devoted to Danish artists of modern and contemporary art.
Opened in 1967, this fine arts museum was housed in the villa of a tobacco manufacturer, Rasmus Færch, which the municipality acquired for the project. Two contemporary extensions were added in 1981 and 2011. The collections are mainly devoted to Danish artists of modern and contemporary art, including many women: Anna Sørensen, Sonja Ferlow Mancoba, Astrid Noack, Olivia Holm-Møller... A "jazz" graphic series by Matisse.
