A boarding school from 1917 to 1945, then a naval academy (with model ships on display), this youth hostel was completely renovated in 2024, and offers some 50 "comfort" rooms with private bathrooms, or "economy" rooms with shared bathrooms. The surroundings are magnificent, with picnic tables, a wooded park, a reading and music room... Nearby are the municipal swimming pool, concert hall and art gallery.
