Interesting museum retracing the city's history, with a monographic room dedicated to the explorer Vitus Bering,
In this museum there are many interesting things. Archaeology, silverware (450 pieces), the history of the city and a monographic room dedicated to Vitus Bering, born in Horsens (in 1681). An explorer who has gone down in history for having discovered in 1728 that Asia and America were separate continents. He was the first to map the west coast of Alaska. The strait separating North America from Russia was named after him.
