Since 1988, this beautiful museum, designed in harmony with its environment, slopes gently down to the fjord. Housed in its rough concrete walls, it houses some figurative works, many abstract paintings, sculptures, ceramics and a superb collection of designer furniture. The lighting has been very well thought out: the openings in the roof are designed to mix north and south light, and the resulting natural lighting is very successful.
