Renovated hotel near the marina, with rooms overlooking the harbor in some cases and an elegant brasserie restaurant
The Hotel des marins has been given a facelift. Founded in 1923, it was expanded in the 1960s and recently completely renovated. Seafarers are still entitled to a preferential rate (20% discount). You should ask for a room with a view of the harbor. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the marina, and very close to the cathedral. You will recognize it by its red façade. The decoration is rather sober with some touches of color and beautiful lithographs by the artist Rannvá Holm Mortensen! The building also houses an elegant brasserie restaurant.
