POSTVERK FØROYA

This is the central office of the Feringian Post Office, which displays old documents, objects and letter carrier's outfits. You'll find all the documentation you need on the philately of these islands; all the brochures and the illustrated bimonthly bulletin are available in French, so don't hesitate to ask for them. You can also go to any other post office to buy documents on Faroese philately, as well as complete years of Faroese stamps. A great idea for a gift to a philatelist, or to add to your personal collection. The stamps depict the history and present-day life of the archipelago, and are highly prized by collectors the world over. Postcards can also be purchased at the post office, at a lower price than in stores or tourist offices.
