BLÁSASTOVA MUSEUM
This small hamlet, built in 1835, is home to an ancient Faroese village community and the Saksun farm.
If you haven't seen the Saksun farm, or if you don't have time to visit it, we strongly recommend a stop at the Blásastova Museum. The surroundings are less pleasant than at Saksun, as this old farmhouse has been preserved in the midst of new buildings. Nevertheless, its five small houses and their little church form a harmonious whole. A unique opportunity to see an ancient Faroese village community. This little hamlet was built in 1835, as was the church, which was enlarged in 1860. Groups can book a typical lunch here.
