Visit Úti í Grøv Park. The lush valley on the shoreline is a striking contrast to the vegetation-free landscapes of the archipelago. Here, two rivers tumble down the mountain and merge just before disappearing into the ocean. Children come to play in the rivers, whose deeper pools invite you to take a dip, if you dare to brave the cold water. This is Klaksvík's only wooded area. The trees were planted in the early 1980s. Along the way, you may notice the ruins of a Viking-era house and a peat shed.
