CHURCH (KIRKJA)
A small church set back from the village houses, with two specific silver coins.
A small church, entirely white, facing the horizon and the jagged coastline of the rocky coastline, a little away from the small houses of the village. A single vessel, pierced by high white glass windows, surrounded by a low dry stone wall. Inside, you will see two special pieces of silver: the altar donated by the British government after the Marwood was wrecked east of Viðareiði in the mid-19th century, and the crucifix from the 16th century. Outside, the cemetery is very modest, with a few crosses pointing to the sky.
