Built in 1960, this airport is located ten minutes from the Corniche. It has been converted into a private airport and welcomes all private jets (Boeing 767 or smaller aircraft) dedicated to the Middle East and North Africa, with over 8,000 rotations per year. The East Abu Dhabi Island hub offers all the VIP services demanded by private flight customers. ICAO standard services are operated by Al Jaber Aviation, Falcon Aviation Services, Prestige Jet and XOjet. The leader, Royal Jet, prefers the runways of the international airport.
