A camel racing experience 45 km east of Abu Dhabi on the Al Ain Road can be one of the most memorable highlights of a visit to the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Cheer on the camels as they gallop around a specially designed track and marvel at how these creatures can reach such high speeds. Races are normally held on weekend mornings or public holidays too. Try to get to the racetracks as early as possible to soak up the atmosphere.
