On the first floor of the mall, an open-air courtyard allows you to escape the air conditioners if you wish. There are several reasonably priced restaurants including Bu Tafish, a chain specializing in fish and seafood also established in Dubai. Founded in 1968, this restaurant is one of the oldest in Abu Dhabi. It was originally a street food stall run by a Palestinian immigrant who got the nickname Bu Tafish from the late Sheikh Zayed, one of the food's biggest fans. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in flavor.
