This two-week festival celebrates the production of dates and all the related products. This is a real immersion in the traditions of the desert and an excellent opportunity to learn how to grow dates. More than 70,000 visitors come to Liwa every afternoon to compete for the best dates, lemons or mangoes. Don't miss the date auctions: prices have been known to go up to AED 6,000 per kilo! The main event is the competition for the best date fruit.
