In the 1990s, Dubai built a dam to ensure the water supply of this enclave. Today, you can kayak or pedal boat and electric boat on the artificial lake surrounded by mountains. On weekends there can be long traffic jams to get there, especially after lunch on Friday, so we recommend you go there in the morning or during the week. Great photos to take, a nice little excursion and an activity to combine with, why not, a family picnic.
