The small museum located in the historic centre presents a century-old collection of these marvellous specimens from the 17th century of writing by well-known local artists. Based on Islamic principles, and focusing mainly on exalting the word of the Prophet, Arabic calligraphy comes in many styles and shades and on a wide variety of media, from wood to ceramics, not to mention paper.
