SHARJAH MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC CIVILIZATION
A 7-gallery museum open to non-Muslims, housing collections of art, weapons, maps and sacred books.
Under the majestic dome built in 1987 to house the Al-Majarrah souk, the authorities decided in 2008 to set up this museum, which was to be an immediate success. From the "gallery of faith" to the collections of art, weapons, maps and sacred books, the visit is particularly enriching, as it is culturally accessible to non-Muslims. A first-class museographic work through 7 spacious galleries and more than 5,000 objects.
