On the edge of the Gulf of Oman, at the foot of the mountain, the site of Khor Fakkan reconciles you with life without skyscrapers. The design of the 4-star Oceanic Hotel seems to have been inspired by a spaceship, but its facilities are worthy of its wonderful surroundings. The hotel has a diving centre, spa and gym with sublime views of the sea. With six bars and restaurants, everything is there for a completely self-sufficient stay. The beach, although small and with a view of the industrial harbour, has the merit to exist.
