NADJ AL MAQSAR
A small village with 13 houses with roofs covered in palm branches and a 300-year-old fortress.
This small village is located not far from Wadi Washi. Recently restored, it has been open to the public since May 2021 and includes 13 houses with roofs covered with palm branches, and a fortress over 300 years old which is accessed by a stone staircase and a small climb. To avoid the crowds and the heat, we recommend that you visit on weekdays and after 4pm. This new site is part of an overall effort by the emirate of Sharjah to protect its heritage and historical sites. Soon you will be able to picnic there.
