At some of the most affordable fares on the market (from 450 euros return), Air Algérie offers numerous flights from all major French cities, including Paris, Lyon and Marseille, with a stopover in Algiers. Flights are rarely on time, sometimes cancelled and replaced by flights with impossible connections (you need to call customer service to reschedule your flight), but the prices are unbeatable and the route optimal for West Africa. You'll need to fill in an immigration form during your stopover.
