NICK AMON'S WORKSHOP
Cosy studio gallery featuring canvases, paint pots, brushes and bric-a-brac of various objects.
This workshop-gallery, in the shape of Ali Baba's cave, is saturated with canvases, paint pots, brushes and bric-a-brac of various and varied objects. Nick Amon, a self-taught painter-plastician emblematic of Bassam welcomes the curious with warmth and simplicity and takes in orphans and street children to introduce them to painting. His plastic language, halfway between the abstract and the figurative, expresses itself through feverish flat tints of bright and luminous colours harmoniously matched. A beautiful encounter.
