A 400 m² center with a dozen craftsmen presenting a host of utilitarian and decorative objects such as pots, vases, etc
The 400 square meters of the European Ceramic Union Circle, built in 1910, were once part of the leisure complex for colonial society. In the early 1980s, a handful of craftsmen trained in ceramics in Abidjan set up a cooperative there. Today, there are about ten craftsmen who can be observed at work and shopping: a host of utilitarian and/or decorative objects including crockery, ashtrays, vases and pots, statues and bas-relief plaques, etc. The Centre also offers training courses.
