HOLY CATHEDRAL OF THE CHILD JESUS
A religious building renowned for its Masses with exceptional choirs, attended by thousands of pilgrims every year.
Regarded as a jewel of religious architecture in Côte d'Ivoire, this religious edifice welcomes thousands of pilgrims every year (the Bouaké region has nearly 100,000 Catholics). The Metropolitan Archbishop of Bouaké, Monsignor Vital Yao Komenan, who died in 2006, was buried there. The cathedral is renowned for its masses with exceptional choirs singing in Baoulé, Burkinabe and French. A must if you can attend during a stay in Bouaké.
